How to search with EDNAME
Do I have to enter the required letters from left to right?
No.
You decide exactly
where each fixed
letter appears.
Empty positions may be
at the beginning,
in the middle,
or at the end.

What is a good search strategy?
Start with a word,
abbreviation,
or fragment that matters
to you.
Then leave a small number
of positions empty.

Can I enter more than the minimum?
Yes.
The displayed requirement

EDNAME intentionally excludes multi-level provider entries such as .com.pl or .co.uk. Only one-part extensions after the domain name are used.
